How many times have you started to make something -- only to find out once you opened the cupboard that you had no powdered sugar.
Well worry no more. I came across this easy to do recipe for making your own.
*1 cup granulated sugar
*1 teaspoon cornstarch
Put both into your blender & blend for around 1 minute. The sugar will then be powdered & ready to be used in that recipe you have started on!
This is so easy to do & if I have extra left over I just put it in a ziplock bag for storing until I need it next time. Comparing the price of the store bought powdered sugar at around $2 or so, it is much cheaper to make it at home.
