Help identify this person.

This person was hitchhiking in Greensville County, Virgina when the vehicle he was in was in a fatal crash. He had no ID on him and it has been 11yrs. ago. Please go here and look at the pic then go here and read all about it and pass it on so we can try and figure out who he might be so his family can finally be notified and he can be laid to rest like he should be.

Christina's-creations

I have mentioned on here only a few times my ecrator site.
http://christinas-creations.ecrater.com/

I want to take this time to let everyone know that all the proceeds from the things bought from here go straight to our Ministry. To help fund our efforts in the things we need to help our fellow brothers and sisters. We spend our own money and time in making these things. So if you find something you like please feel free to order and it will be sent out to you within a few days. I also put a confirmation on the order when sent so it can be tracked when shipped at my expense. There are only 1 of each item shown. But the checkbooks and wallets we may be able to accommodate you with more if you let us know. Take a gander around, you just might find something you can't live without. Or you might find something you could use for a gift.
God Bless,
Christina

My Brother's Keeper

I wanted to let everyone know of the new buttons I have put along the right side of my blog. As some of you were aware we are a Home Ministry. We enjoy what we do and love the Lord with all our hearts. I know times are lean but the Lord provides for us all. He has always come through for us. As I know he has for you as well. But he also put us here for one another as we are all our brother's keepers. So in that, we like to try and provide bibles to hand out to those who have none. We try not to turn anyone away when they ask for one. But as of late we have been running short on them. Our money as been low.
We do up care packages with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, a sandwich and a pop to hand out when we see someone in need. We go to places that some wouldn't even dare step foot into. But our funds are limiting us in this area.
We know that our hearts are filled with joy when someone gives us something we don't expect and we know these people feel this way also. So we would like to continue to do this. But without the support of others we cannot. We have been funding this all on our own.
As we do not take a tithe in our Ministry. As I have said we lay everything we do in the Lord's hands. He has been pressing me hard that we are our brother's keepers. That is why we keep our diligence with providing others with things they cannot provide for themselves. It doesn't mean they are weak, only that they need someone to lean on right now.
Everyone needs a hand to hold once in awhile. A smile to brighten their day. Let them know someone cares.

You'll never truly know how just a "smile" or the word "hello" might have changed a persons day.
Until you try it.

If you could find it in your heart to donate for either cause it would truly be appreciated. The buttons are on the right side----->>>>>>>>>
Thank you so much.........
God Bless,
Christina

Emergency Pouches for your vehicles

Well this is actually my 2nd post coming from the Stealth Survival blog. The first is below this one. But I thought this was very worth posting. Since we never know when we may need something like this.

Removing Rust from Cast Iron Pots

This I read from the Stealth Survival Blog that I follow.
I never knew you could take rust from cast iron pots after they got that far. I tried cooking in cast iron pans but seemed to burn everything I cooked so I went to T-fal, the non-stick cookware.

I found this picture and it is an outlet store that sells cast iron cookware. I have added the link below for everyone.

Nanosolar Solar Cells: Cheaper than Milk?

Solar panels for cheaper than milk, wouldn't that be great! Well take a look at the article over at homestead.org and see for yourself.

Let The Wind Howl

This comes from the homestead.org website. I am very curious about going green and I really liked this story.
Let the wind howl.
This guy has had no electric bill for 6yrs. now.
That I could get use to.

Hebrew 10:1-20 Sins for ever forgiven with one offering.

HEB 10: 1
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
HEB 10: 2
For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
HEB 10: 3
But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
HEB 10: 4
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
HEB 10: 5
Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
HEB 10: 6
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
HEB 10: 7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
HEB 10: 8
Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
HEB 10: 9
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
HEB 10: 10
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
HEB 10: 11
And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
HEB 10: 12
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
HEB 10: 13
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
HEB 10: 14
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
HEB 10: 15
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
HEB 10: 16
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
HEB 10: 17
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
HEB 10: 18
Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
HEB 10: 19
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
HEB 10: 20
By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

Super Fabric Softener Stretcher

I got this from an email.
This is how it goes....
This lady gets a giant bottle of fabric softener and then takes 2 cups of it along with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water and shakes it well. She uses that the same way she normally would her regular fabric softener. She says that her clothes come out softer and her towels come out fluffier.

I will give this a try. I already mix water with my fabric softener to make it go farther. Plus I have used just vinegar when I haven't had softener.

Extra Income from home...........

If you want a side job and know anything about Freelancing, this place is for you. Actually Freelancing isn't the only thing they offer. Web Designing, Game Development, Bookkeeping, and Logo Design are just a few of the jobs they have listed.
I plan to look into this myself. I know of someone I follow on another blog that works for this company and says he loves it. It helps to pay for him to RV full time. He Freelances for them.

Health Insurance Exec Speaks

My views on Health Care:
are we need better affordable Insurance for everyone.
Well this article I came across will amaze you as to why you pay so much for your coverage.

It starts out with--

My name is Wendell Potter ,

who was a senior executive for the insurance industry for 20 yrs. Then he goes on to say he knows of how the insurance companies dumped the sick all to satisfy the wall street investors.

This is a must read.

US Constitution

Thought some might like a link to the US Constitution its self. Good read even though it is hard to understand at times.

Our Health Care-Why isn't it there for us?

I don't know if you know of Michael Moore or not. But you NEED to watch his film on our Health Care System of the USA. It is called
SICKO.
I was so amazed at the things he showed in this film. The things our hospitals do to the poor that can't pay. The way they make them throw-aways and just dump them on the streets when they still need care and they are dazed and confused, still drugged up from their partial hospital stay.
He shows the way other countries have such a better "One for all" Health Care System in place. How the ones that do pay don't mind at all that they have to pay and the ones that don't, don't have to. They just say--"I can afford it and they can't."
In one country he took a woman from the US who needed inhalers- here she pays around $120 something each for them, in that country it only cost her 5 cents. I don't remember how many they brought back to the US for her.
If it only costs 5 cents there then why do we have to pay so much here???
Whether you like this guy or not you really need to watch this movie. You will be amazed at what you learn. I WAS........... But not totally shocked because I know our Government is greedy.
It is on the Movie Channel and TMC through Aug. 5th.
You can find the listing for the times there.
I wouldn't recommend you let your kids watch this as it does have some nudity from the hospital scenes. But PLEASE do set aside the time to watch this. It is 123 minutes long and very worth watching.

There is no reason our Government couldn't have the same Health Care as these other countries that he visited. The only problem with our Government is that they are greedy.

Michael Moore has even been referenced in Health Affairs Magazine--
Quote--(And thanks to Bill Moyers and former Cigna executive Wendell Potter for reminding us that Michael Moore had it right about the insurance industry in SiCKO.)
You'll find it down in the center of the page.

Another page to look at is one about Bill Moyer. He gets to the nitty gritty of the Health Care. With whistle blowers and things we like to hear about, as US citizens.

To All My Friends

JELL-O COOKIES IN A JAR

This comes from my group Gifts In A Jar, that I belong to on yahoo. I can't wait to try it. Would also make a great gift.

This makes beautiful little pastel colored cookies.

Mix well in big bowl with wire whisk:
1/2 cup sugar
1 (3 oz.) package Jell-O -- any flavor (orange, lemon, cherry)
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2-1/2 cups flour

This makes about 4 cups mix, enough to fill a quart sized jar. To give as a gift, place the lid on the jar and cut a piece of fabric in a circle, that is several inches larger than the jar lid. Pinking shears make a nice edge. Secure the fabric to the lid with a rubber band. Attach the directions to the jar with a ribbon or raffia.

Attach these directions for baking the cookies....

Mix 3/4 cup shortening,
2 eggs and
1 tsp. vanilla together in a bowl.
Add entire contents of jar. Mix well. Roll cookies into small balls. Place them on greased cookie sheets, then dip the bottom of a glass in sugar and press onto dough until flat. Bake at 350 for 7-10 minutes until done but not browned.
Makes about 2- 1/2 dozen cookies.

Since I haven't posted this yet-here it is---

I have been lax in posting this pic of our new (new for us) van. We have had it for a couple weeks now. The Lord blessed us with this. As you can see it is in great shape and no rust at all. We just love it. Room for the dogs and grandkids. Room for 7 people altogether. Not to mention in a teal blue color that I just love. (blue is my favorite color) We will drive this in the summer and then trade over to the S-10 for the winter.

If they can love unconditionally--why can't we????

Here are some Bible Study worksheets!

I have to give a shout out to Renee over at G*L*O*W Academy for this as I took this from her blog. I took a look at these an loved what I saw. As a Home Ministry- we love to find new things to use for our teaching tools. Granted the best tool is the BIBLE its' self. But I can never seem to find enough things as teaching tools to use to teach the kids. As they are the ones that need all the help as they will be the teachers of tomorrow. I find great joy in teaching the Bible to the little ones as well as the young at heart.
You are never to old to learn that the Lord LOVES YOU!
And there is NOTHING you can do so wrong that the LORD will NOT forgive you for what you have done in your life.
Always Remember--
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
