From one Christian to another

I have never done this on my blog before but I feel this is a major need.
I know of a family whom has a little girl who was in a car accident and she was hurt very badly. They have used all their insurance coverage they have and are going in debt. I want to help. The only way I can think of is to get some visitors to my ecrator site in hopes they will find something they can't do without and I will donate all the funds toward her care and helping the family.
If I can get all my friends/followers to share this on their blogs so others can see this I would be so appreciative.
I talked this over with the family and they asked that I not mention their name as they didn't want it getting out that they were having trouble making ends meet or taking care of their daughter's medical expenses. They are a proud family.
As many of us are but in a time such as this sometimes a little humility never hurts.
But it's not for us to judge.
Can we come together and help not only this family but this sweet 4 year old little girl???

Thank you all for being my dear friends...

You may lose your Internet in July.....

That is what they are saying if your internet has been hacked by international hackers.

But if it's fine you will get this with a green outline around it when you go to this link-->>
You can go here to find out more about it-->>

I just read about it today in the newspaper. So I wanted to pass it along to my friends. I checked my computer and I am fine. Thank goodness. I would hate it if I lost my internet. I would be lost without it.
So please check yours.

A Letter from "Mom n Dad"...

My child,

When I get old, I hope you understand 'n have patience with me
... In case I break the plate, or spill soup on the table because I’m losing my eyesight, I hope you don’t yell at me.
Older people are sensitive, always having self pity when you yell.
When my hearing gets worse 'n I can’t hear what you’re saying, I hope you don’t call me ‘Deaf!’
Please repeat what you said or write it down.

I’m sorry, my child.
I’m getting older.
When my knees get weaker, I hope you have the patience to help me get up.
Like how I used to help you while you were little, learning how to walk.
Please bear with me, when I keep repeating myself like a broken record, I hope you just keep listening to me.
Please don’t make fun of me, or get sick of listening to me.

Do you remember when you were little 'n you wanted a ballon? You repeated yourself over 'n over until you get what you wanted.
Please also pardon my smell. I smell like an old person. Please don’t force me to shower.
My body is weak.
Old people get sick easily when they’re cold. I hope I don’t gross you out.

Do you remember when you were little? I used to chase you around because you didn’t want to shower.
I hope you can be patient with me when I’m always cranky. It’s all part of getting old.
You’ll understand when you’re older.
'n if you have spare time, I hope we can talk even for a few minutes.
I’m always all by myself all the time, 'n have no one to talk to.
I know you’re busy with work.
Even if you’re not interested in my stories, please have time for me.

Do you remember when you were little? I used to listen to your stories about your teddy bear.
When the time comes, 'n I get ill 'n bedridden, I hope you have the patience to take care of me.
I’m sorry if I accidentally wet the bed or make a mess.
I hope you have the patience to take care of me during the last few moments of my life.
I’m not going to last much longer, anyway.
When the time of my death comes, I hope you hold my hand 'n give me strength to face death 'n don’t worry..
When I finally meet our creator, I will whisper in his ear to bless you. Because you loved your Mom 'n Dad.
Thank you so much for your care.
We love you. ! ♥

Bird houses we finished this weekend..

I showed you a few weeks ago about a birdhouse with a window in the back. So
that you can hang it in front of a window and watch in the back how the birds
make their nests and see the babies hatch.
This is how ours turned out. Only difference is we made the back so you can lift
it up and clean it out. Since birds don't like to come to a place that already has
a nest built.
We used a small 3x4 picture frame, since it already had the glass in it. They
were cheap to pick up at the discount store. We used a super glue type of glue
to hold the glass in place.
Using a 1x6 piece of lumber made it easy to cut and put together. We used the
inside of an old cupboard door as the top. We took the outside frame off and
ended up with the top after we cut it in half. We left them all natural so to
resemble the look and smell of trees. We also hooked them to a double
shepherds hook. That way we didn't have 2 posts in the flower garden.
I also took the mesh bag you get oranges in and filled it with the lint from the
dryer. Then wove strands of yarn in and out of it, then hung it on one of the
trees in our front yard. That way they have things to help build the nests.

What do you think of this Doctors philosophy???

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out
eventually. Speeding up heart not make you live longer; it like saying you extend life of car by driving faster. Want to live longer? Take nap.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: Oh no. Wine made from fruit. Brandy distilled wine, that mean they take water out of fruity bit so
you get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made of grain. Bottom up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have body and you have fat, your ratio one to one. If you have two body, your ratio
two to one.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Can't think of single one, sorry. My philosophy: No pain...good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING! Food fried in vegetable oil. How getting more vegetable be bad?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Oh no! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only be doing sit-up if you want
bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: You crazy?!? HEL-LO-O!! Cocoa bean! Another vegetable! It best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for figure, explain whale to me.

Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!

Well... I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.

And remember:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and
well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to
know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans...

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks
than Americans.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like - speaking English is apparently what kills you.

An Officer’s Life

An Officer’s Life

*You wonder why he pulled you over and gave you a ticket for speeding,

He just worked an accident where people died because they were going too fast.
*You wonder why that cop was so mean,

He just got done working a case where a drunk driver killed a kid.

*You work for 8 hours,

He works for up to 18 hours.

*You drink hot coffee to stay awake,

The cold rain in the middle of the night keeps him awake.

*You complain of a "headache," and call in sick,

He goes into work still hurt and sore from the guy he had to fight the night before.

*You drink your coffee on your way to the mall,

He spills his as he runs Code 3 to a traffic crash with kids trapped inside.

*You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket before you leave the house,

He makes sure his gun is clean and fully loaded and his vest is tight.

*You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you,

He watches his buddy get shot at, and wounded in front of him.

*You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls,

He walks down the highway looking for body parts from a traffic crash.

*You complain about how hot it is,

He wears fifty pounds of gear and a bullet proof vest in July and still runs around chasing crack heads.

*You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong,

He runs out before he gets his food to respond to an armed robbery.

*You get out of bed in the morning and take your time getting ready,

He gets called out of bed at 2 am after working 12 hours and has to be into work A.S.A.P. for a homicide.

*You go to the mall and get your hair redone,

He holds the hair of some college girl while shes puking in the back of his patrol car.

*You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over,

His shift ended 4 hours ago and there's no end in sight.

*You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight,

He can't make any plans because on his off days he still gets called back into work.

*You yell and scream at the squad car that just past you because they slowed you down,

He's in the driver seat of the squad car, going to cut somebody out of their car.

*You roll your eyes when a baby cries in public,

He picks up a dead child in his arms and prays that it was crying.

*You criticize your police department and say they're never there quick enough,

He blasts the siren while the person in front of him refuses to move while talking on their cell phone.

*You hear the jokes about fallen officers and say they should have known better,

He is a hero and runs into situations when everyone else is running away in order to make sure no one else gets hurt and loses his life doing it.

*You are asked to go to the store by your parents, you don't,

He would take a bullet for his buddy without question.

*You sit there and judge him, saying that it's a waste of money to have them around,

Yet as soon as you need help he is there.

Do you ever play the lottery?

We do every once in awhile. Of course we played when the Mega Millions was so high a few drawings ago. But of course we didn't win anything.
I did play the Powerball this last time and we won $12. Not bad for a $1 ticket. I really don't think we will ever win anything big but it sure is nice to hope.

What would you do if you won the BIG prize???

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

I had a fabulous weekend.
Mr. L. went for a motorcycle ride with his friends for a few hrs. Saturday and when he got back we had a bonfire with one of them.
As I tried to clean the house while he was out, I had trouble with the vacuum cleaner. it was blowing dust. I couldn't figure out why since Mr. L. had used it last and said he replaced the bag.
So I decided to look at the bag to see if it was on tight or full.
This is what I seen when I opened it up.

As you can see I wasn't a happy camper. So even though I tried to get it all in the trash when I cleaned it out, I had to make a mess to clean it up. Making my house cleaning extra long. But I still love Mr. L. as we all forget to do things once in awhile.

Then I decided to cut my hair, it was getting so it was touching my shoulders and I don't like the way it gets hot in the summer. I am losing most of the perm I got back in January but there is enough left to keep it cute. I just cut the back and tapered it so it looked nice.
At least I think so. What do you think????

I have to wear my glasses when I drive and watch TV. So I took a pic of me with it both ways.

When I was done cutting my hair I was searching for all the puppies since it was so quiet in the house and I had to look twice for Punkin. She was hiding, she was cold. If it's below 80 degrees she thinks she is freezing.

Their cage door is always open during the day so they can go in and out.

On Sunday I spent time with Mr. L. and went out for dinner. I love it when we spend time together like that. He is always such a gentleman. Not that he isn't any other time but it just makes you feel good when others look at your man and you know he's yours.
