6 cups dried bread cubes
1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups 1% milk
3 beaten eggs
whipped cream or low fat ice cream(optional)
Butter a 2 Quart Baking dish. In the buttered dish combine bread cubes, marshmallows, chocolate pieces, and walnuts then set aside. In a large bowl stir together sugar and cocoa powder. Combine 1% milk and eggs and whisk into the sugar mixture.
Pour mixture over bread in baking dish. Press bread lightly with back of a large spoon until all is moistened. Bake in 350 oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until when inserting a knife in center it comes out clean. Cool slightly, before serving. If desired serve with ice cream or whipped cream topping..
