Here are wacky uses for Scotch Tape.

STICKY SOLUTIONS WITH SCOTCH TAPE
From www.wackyuses.com.

Trim bangs. Place a piece of Scotch Tape across the bangs and cut the hair just above the tape.

Keep long-stemmed flowers standing upright in a vase. Crisscross Scotch Tape across the mouth of the vase.

Avoid losing small parts when fixing an appliance. Before dismantling the item, tape a strip of Scotch tape, adhesive side up, on your worktable. Place the parts on the tape in the order you remove them, so they are ready to be reassembled.

Attach a sewing pattern to fabric. Use Scotch Tape to tape the pattern to the material, then cut the pattern, leaving a reinforced edge.

Prevent a plaster wall from crumbling when driving a nail into it. Make a small X over the spot with two strips of Scotch Tape, then drive the nail.

Caddie nails. Place nails between layers of Scotch Tape so they're readily available.

Prevent knick-knacks from scratching highly polished table tops. Line the bottoms of the objects with Scotch Tape.

Fix a frayed shoelace tip. Wrap the frayed end with a small strip of Scotch Tape.

Protect labels on prescription medicines. Cover the label with Scotch Tape.

Prevent small children from poking objects into electrical outlets. Cover the sockets with Scotch Tape.

Sew in a zipper. Baste the seam closed, press open, tape the zipper face down along the basted seam on the wrong side of the fabric (allowing the tape to hold the zipper flat). Sew on a machine, then remove tape and basting.

Straighten bent stems in your garden. Make a splint with a Popsicle stick and Scotch Tape.
